Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PinSnap (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. Description of Service

PinSnap is a photo annotation and collaboration platform available via the iOS app and web dashboard at pinsnap.ai. The Service allows users to upload images, place pins and annotations, add comments, and share galleries with team members or external parties.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • You may not use the Service if you are under 13 years of age.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

  • PinSnap offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe.
  • You can manage your subscription, update payment methods, or cancel at any time through the Billing section of the dashboard.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing cycle.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions will honour the current price until renewal.

5. Your Content

  • You retain full ownership of all images, annotations, and data you upload to PinSnap.
  • You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service (including generating share links and syncing across devices).
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you add to the Service. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VRPM Ltd and its officers from any claims arising from content you upload, including but not limited to copyright infringement, privacy violations, or illegal material.
  • We do not access, review, or use your content for any purpose other than operating the Service unless required by law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or content designed to harm the Service or other users.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorisation.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
  • Resell or redistribute access to the Service without written permission.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep PinSnap available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance, and occasional outages may occur. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using PinSnap, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PinSnap and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from the Account settings page or by emailing info@pinsnap.ai.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
  • Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of PinSnap after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
